I'm sure that you've heard this saying over and over again. Knowledge is power!

I'm not trying to say anything bad about knowledge, but the truth of the matter is that sometimes you can have way too much knowledge and that can be a very bad thing.

Have you ever heard of paralysis by analysis? Let me tell you a story that actually happened to me many years ago.

I was meeting with an accountant who had expressed interest in my network marketing business. There's nothing wrong with accountants, but as you can probably imagine they tend to be highly analytical.

Typically I would present our network marketing business in about 20 minutes. My presentation with this accountant lasted about 2 hours! Every time I would get going he would interrupt me with another question. That question would be followed by many more.

He wanted every detail and said that he needed all of these tiny details before he could make a good decision. We were already successful in this business but not successful enough to spot a prospect that was never going to do anything!

Paralysis by analysis occurs more often than you realize in the network marketing industry and if you're new to network marketing it's best that you learn this lesson now.

Network marketing won't work unless you do. Analyzing anything too much leads to information overload and no action. There are a lot of people that will never do anything in any network marketing company but they sure do love gathering information.

You'll hear this excuse a lot "I'll be ready to get started when I do a little more research." No they won't. And if they do somehow miraculously join your business chances are good that they won't ever do anything.

Knowledge is power. That is one of the most ridiculous statements I have ever heard. Pardon me while I get on my soapbox, but knowledge without action is worthless. You get paid in network marketing based on results and not knowledge.

We've recruited hundreds of people in our network marketing career and we've never seen even one person become successful who waited and waited to actually do the business while they were gaining knowledge.

Of course you need to know what you're doing, but you don't need to know everything, before you do anything. We teach people to take little steps. Accomplish step one and you can move on to step two.

When you recruit somebody who doesn't do step one within their first few days in the business I can almost guarantee that they will not become successful. It doesn't matter why people don't do what it takes to become successful, they just don't.

You never get paid in network marketing to analyze anything, you always get paid for results.

Scott Miller would love to help you achieve life changing success in network marketing. If you're interested in massive network marketing success visit Scott's websites, Massive Network Marketing Success, or Zurvita Blog today.
