My mom came home one day to tell me that if I needed a job, I could search online for some rewarding careers that were geared towards the real estate business. Recent reports have shown that there have been a slow, steady rise of increased home sales all over the US, so I thought that maybe I could become an LEED Green Associate. I did some research and found out that there was an intensive and rigid training involved. I would need to be certified before I could take on the job. The certification is an industry norm for business professionals promoting green building practices. This was like opening a new world of opportunities out there that would promote environmental awareness in the home and building construction fields. I was so excited to know more about this and figured that this might just be the career that I was looking for.
